Robert Headley

Robert is the epitome of Caribbean tourism possibility, rising through the ranks of hospitality operations to become a revered authority figure in the discipline.

Prior to his appointment as Director of Operations for Arya Resorts Management on November 1, 2020, Robert was the General Manager of Sandy Haven Luxury Boutique Resort in Negril, Jamaica.

Robert began his hospitality career in 1998 as a Management Trainee in Food & Beverage and Events at Half Moon Hotel, before his reputation as an outstanding producer was brought to the attention of Sandals Resorts, where he was recruited as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Throughout his 6 year stint with Sandals, this Operations dynamo would be dispatched to properties chain-wide to impart his performance brand. His career path would also take him to Margaritaville Caribbean from where he departed as General Manager of their Negril operations; Cool Runnings Water Park as Operations Manager and the internationally recognized Tryall Club as Director of Operations.

Robert who holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Resort Management and a Certificate in Engineering from the University of Technology, in addition to international certification in Food and Beverage Management and Cost Controlling, is actively involved in the Jamaica Hotel & Tourist Association, where he served as a Vice President and Chairman of the Small Hotels Committee.
